Haryana formed the Vax Task Force to focus on low coverage districts

Gurgaon: The government Haryana has formed a special task force to provide support in areas left behind in Covid-19 vaccination.
In low coverage districts such as Noah and Palwal, the health team, known as ‘tolist vaccination’ and ‘Prachar Tolis’, will be deployed to campaign and ensure that everyone has received at least their first shot on December 31.

At present, Haryana’s first dose coverage is at 87% while 41% of the total population that meets the state requirements of 2.05 Crore has been fully vaccinated.

During the video conference, Minister of Health Anil VIJ said, “Every village will get a mobile van where the team will go for door vaccinations to the door.

On Friday, 50 government session sites will be arranged – 44 for covishield, five for covaxin and one for sputnik.
The health team will also visit 175 areas to vaccinate door-to-door.
12 new cases in the city of nine people were tested positive for Covid on Thursday, taking Caseload City to 1,81,499, where 61 was active.
Eight people also recovered, bringing total recovery to 1,80,515.
52 patients were in house isolation.
