CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government on Tuesday extended the summertime holiday for many colleges in the nation till June 30.
“All colleges in the country will stay closed until June 30 as summer vacations are lengthy,” Education Minister Kanwar Pal told colleagues after a country Cabinet meeting.

Teachers, however, were permitted to attend college perform from June 1.
Asked about the announcement of this course 12 outcomes, the ministry said it’d be out in a month.
He explained the course 12 outcomes will be ready on the grounds of internal evaluation and other parameters laid down by the Haryana Board of School Education.
The Haryana government had previously cancelled board tests for course 12 because of a quicker increase in coronavirus disease.

In a formal announcement, however, Pal added which a predetermined sum would be given to the authorities college pupils up to class VIII to buy their textbooks.
Since the procedure for awarding tenders for supply of textbooks among pupils was taking quite a very long time, the government has chosen to provide the money directly into students to purchase their textbooks.
Older classes pupils are also being invited to present their older textbooks to pupils studying in junior courses, he further added.
