Affidavit, detailing the steps taken by the Haryana government, in response to the petition submitted in the APEX court by a 17-year-old Delhi student, who expressed concern at a deteriorating level of pollution in the region.
Officials said they had asked all district judges to take “aggressive actions” to reduce pollution in their area.
“At present, we focus on the closure of the pollut industry, keeping the incidence of burning stumps under control and urging people to work from home.
We will take more aggressive steps if air quality remains as bad as next week too.
On Wednesday, we send Affidavit with the Supreme Court about what steps we take now and what we plan to do in the long run, such as providing adequate machines to farmers.
We will take all steps that have been suggested by the Commission for Air Management (CAQM ) In NCR and a side by side, “said S.

But experts say the direction of Caqm about how to reduce pollution comes rather late.
