‘Haryana, Himachal Pradesh Cms to sign the MoU to build a dam at Adi Badri to rejuvenate the Saraswati River’

Yamunanagar: Heritage Development Board Haryana Sarasvati (HSHDB) Deputy Chair of Dhuman Singh Kirmach said that the Chiefisters of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh said they would sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on January 21 to give approval to develop a dam at Adi Badri to rejuvenate the Saraswati River.
As per HSHDB, Adi Badri is the place of origin of the river.
Dhuman Singh held a meeting with HSHDB members and officials of several departments on Thursday and suspected several officials for the event.
Dhuman Singh said, “Instructions were issued for relevant officials to complete all preparations in the specified time period and the same inspection were also carried out.” “Dam development in Adi Badri will benefit this region.
Joint efforts and coordinates are made to rejuvenate the Saraswati River, which is connected to the ancient Indian culture.
The government Haryana has carried out this initiative and the work is being carried out to bring water to the Saraswati river channel,” he said.
He said this project would play an important role in the sector including water conservation, irrigation, drinking water and tourism.
