Kurukshetra: After receiving information from Ragpicker, the police have found the body of a man who decomposes from the tree at Tau Devi Lal Park near Pipli in Kurukshetra on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Gurnam Singh (in his 50s) of Ladwa Town in Kurukshetra District, who was missing from his home for the past 10 days, police said.
According to the information, a Ragpicker saw the body in the park and notified the police.
Gurnam’s family member said that Gurnam was used to work as Munim in the wheat market and he lost for almost 10 days since October 20.
The police said that the family did not suspect made a mistake but told that Gurname had taken a loan to solve his son but things did not go according to plan and he was under pressure when he found it difficult to pay for his loan.
Gurnam survived his wife and three children including two sons and a girl.
Responsible for the Sector Police-5 Police Post Jeet Singh said “The family of the late Gurnam said that he was lost for almost 10 days and after seeing the body’s condition appeared that he had committed suicide on the same day he was missing.
The body has shifted to the morgue for the morgue for postmortem.
