Haryana: Prison prisoners died after complaining of chest pain

Yamunanagar: A convict serving a seven-year prison period in the Yamunanagar district prison in the case of efforts to carry out a robbery died on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Saddam (36) Gujranwala Village, which was declared dead at the center of the Trauma of the Mukund Lal District Civil Hospital.
Police said Saddam rushed to the hospital after he complained of chest pain.
Yamunanagar District Jail Inspector Sanjeev Pattar said that inmates felt chest pain at around 2:30 a.m.
on Wednesday and he was first taken to a prison hospital immediately, from where he was referred to the Trauma Center in Yamunanagar.
“Chitt Saddam serves a sentence of seven years in prison in Jagadhri”, said Pattar.
Saddam was ordered under section 398 (an effort to carry out robbery or dakoity) and 401 (belonging to the thief gang) at the Jagadhri City Police Station on May 28, 2017.
