Haryana: RSS Related Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Request Remunerative Prices for Plants

Yamunanagar: Some Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) members, a agricultural body related to Rashtriya SwayamSewak Sangh (RSS) held a demonstration outside the Yamunanagar District Mini Secretariat in Jagadhri City and handed the request note on behalf of the Indian Prime Minister through the Deputy Office of Commissioners (DC) on Wednesday.

The Secretary General of BKS Ramvir Singh Chauhan said that this demonstration was carried out by farmers related to their bodies in every district district.

The Prime Minister must provide prices that give consideration to farmers.

Ramvir said their Union (BKS) was ready to accept (the central government passed) Agri-marketing laws if the government provided a guarantee at the minimum support price (MSP) and made arrangements for the fast trajectory court so that farmers could get the fast.

Ramvir said that BKS also attracted Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) to carry out their agitation in a peaceful way and avoid possible violence.
“Agitation (SKM) must be continued in such a way that the general public does not face any problems”, said Ramvir.

“Government leaders and ministers may not spread any rumors in connection with farmers.
The agitation of farmers will only end when the government and farmers will sit together and resolve problems with peace”, Ramvir said.
In particular, SKM is the spearhead of agitation on the border of Delhi for the past 10 months against three agri-marketing laws that are passed by the center they call “black law”.
From the beginning of their agitation, SKM has demanded the revocation of three agri-marketing laws and laws that guarantee MSP on all plants throughout the country.
