Gurugram: Reeling with a financial crisis, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) plans to monetize unplanned land and not be used.
The development authority has identified the land parcel in the sector 9, 10 and 49 in Gurugram and the Pataudi 1 sector.
About 300 plots are expected to be developed in this land field and HSVP hopes to collect several RS 500 crore from the same auction.
In sector 9 Gurugram, for example, HSVP has identified land parcels near the 1232P number plot where officials say around 30 housing plots can be developed.
Land parcels along 10 meters of this sector road.
Authority also plans to develop shopping centers in the area.
Plots can take between Rs 1-1.5 lakh per square page in this sector, according to officials.
Likewise, HSVP plans to auction package of land provided for the development of a group housing community in sector 49.
This land auction is expected to take around RS 30-40 Crore.
In Sector 10 Gurugram, HSVP plans to auction two plots near the community center – one of the 2,700 square feet and size of 3,800 sq.
At present, the land is used as a landfill, causing discomfort for the residents of the area.
The development authority has also identified around 6.54 hectares of land in the Pataudi 1 sector, where around 175 housing plots can be developed.
Plantation Officers from HSVP (Gurugram) Vikas Dhanda said they were preparing plans to monetize land that was not used.
“All of these plots will be sold through e-auctions.” HSVP has tweaked plans to develop the Ashina project in Pataudi.
About eight hectares of land intended to develop a flat under the Ashiana scheme for the economically weaker part (EWS) will be converted into a housing community plotted.
HSVP plans to increase around Rs 200 Crore from sales of more than 160 plots and commercial spaces.
