Chandigarh: The active Covid-19 case in Haryana dropped to less than half a day, raising eyebrows.
On Monday, the health bulletin had reported 646 cases of active and on Tuesday dropped to 290.
What’s more, the number is not increasing and efforts to get clarification from the state health authority by failing.
According to the Tuesday bulletin, the cumulative number of Covid cases was reported 7,70,486.
However, the healing case is 7,60,175, death of 9,677 and 160 active cases, which add up to 7,70,142, leaving a gap 344.
Some attempts to contact the Director General of Health (DGHS) Veena Singh to seek clarification.
When contacted, the additional principal, Rajeev Arora expressed the inability to comment on the report at a meeting with officials through video conferencing.
