Chandigarh: After closing the school at the start of the third wave, the Ministry of Education Haryana has decided to open a regular school for students of grade 10 to 12 from February 1 and so on.
The decision to reopen the school for grades 1 to 9 has not been taken.
Kanwar Pal Gujjar education minister said that the government would receive a call on this account after February 15.
“Until now, around 75 school children have received the first dose of vaccines, therefore risk factors are quite low with them..
Our break has adopted a waiting and watching policy for the junior,” Gujjar said.
He, however, added that students, and school management, must ensure the appropriate behavior of Covid.
Students of grade 10 to 12 also have options for attending online lectures.
Meanwhile, the management of private school associations has repeated their demands for schools starting for all classes.
“Only educational institutions and schools can provide the best and safe atmosphere for children.
We wonder how a child is safer on the market and on folding liquor than going to school.
The government is just avoiding the school management sentiment that has suffered.
, “said Kulbhushan Sharma, President of the Haryana Private School Federation.
Sharma urged the Minister of Gujjar and the Ministry of Education to make schools open for grade 1 to 9 discretionary.
“Let the parents and management decide on this account,” he added.
