Hathras Rape: ‘UP CM Yogi promises a lie’

Agra: The head of the Chandrashekhar Azad army on Friday accused the minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath “lying to the Hathras Dalit alley family and victims of murder promising their work and home last year”.
He claimed that contrary to the public announcement of Yogi, the district government had confirmed him that they had received “no such orders from the state government”.
Azad reached the victim’s house on Thursday and spent the night with his family.
The next morning he met the District Judge (DM) to find out about the reason for delay in fulfilling the promise of CM.
After the meeting, Azad told the media that “no cm will lie like yogi adityanath”.
He added that such people should not continue in his position.
“Who should we believe and expect justice from, if CM starts lying?” he says.
The head of the Chandrashekhar Azadlater truck on the day, Azad met the Commissioner (Range of Aligarh) and dig and they assured him that they would do it and try to meet demands within a week.
“They promised work and a house for the families of the victims within seven days.
We will hold unlimited protests, if demands are not fulfilled,” he said, adding that they would wait at least 10 days.
Incidentally, a letter signed by DM later, the police supervisor and additional DM mentioned several guarantees.
That includes “Rs 25 Lakh Financial Assistance, the provisions of the work of the government C group for one of the victims and home relatives and fast tracking investigations”.
Head of the Bhim Army further said the Dalit community was treated like “pests” by the government led by BJP and they would give a full reply in the assembly poll next year.
