Bhubaneswar: A woman in the Bargarh Odisha district, who has not taken the first dose of vaccine against Covid-19, surprised to see a message saying she has been vaccinated in Uttar Pradesh.
Jashobanti Sahu, 19, has never been to a country governed by Yogi Adityanh Nors outside Odisha since the pandemic crashed into the country last year.
Her husband, Sudhansu Sekhar, said the wrong message about his 19-year-old wife who had been successfully given the first dose of the vaccine sent to his cellphone number.
“After clicking the link in the message, we found a partial vaccination certificate, which stated that he took the first shot at Mithawa Auratar in Maharajanj in Uttar Pradesh,” he said.
The vaccination certificate was downloaded by the Sekhar and seen by TII showed that he was managed by Covishield on September 17.
When contacted on Wednesday, the health authorities said they would ask this problem.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health on Thursday said the recipient was registered on the Co-Win portal and had booked a promise for vaccination on July 26.
