Haveri: 50 people donate blood to mark their favorite bull birthday

Haveri: To mark the sixth anniversary of their favorite bull named ‘Rakshasa’, which is a star attraction in taming the event in the region, the fans held a blood donor camp on Wednesday.
More than 50 villagers donate blood on occasion.
Rakshasa, owned by Siddalingesh Guardian in Kerimattihalli Village in this district, after winning several awards and prizes in the bull-taming incident, has become famous in the region.
The fans held a camp in relation to the Haveri Central Bumi District Hospital in Grama persuading temples in the village.
The guardian and bull fans also carry a 5kg cake, cut it and distribute slices among the villagers before the blood donor drive was launched.
After the drive, they arranged lunch for everyone.
Wali said he had bought Rakshasa (Kanayam Breed) from Tamil Nadu six years ago.
“After being trained for the bull-taming incident, he won several competitions held in Hangal, Byadagi, Shikaripur, Shivamogga, and other villages.
So far, Rakshasa has won 58 prizes, and this includes gold equipment, refrigerator and agriculture,” Add guardian.

They marked their big pet day by donating blood that could save some lives, Dr.
