Mumbai: Special PMLA Court on Monday sent former Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh (72) for justice custody until November 29 in money laundering.
He was arrested on 2.
November after the defense moved the request to find home food for Deshmukh, the court said the prison had a rule and told him to eat prison food for now.
“If there are complaints, then I will consider,” said the court.
“As far as the prayer of home food, let the defendant be accepted in prison.
The appropriate order will be continued later depending on the complaint in the light of health problems accused,” the court added.
The court said that home food could also cause acidity of Deshmukh after his lawyer registered his illness.
Urge the court to send Dishmukh for Judicial custody and not release him during the suffering of investigations, Ed in his request submitted through the Special Public Prosecutor Hiten Venegaonkar said he was an influential person, has served as Minister of State House, and if he is justice.
Detention is not given, it can damage the evidence.
“During Deshmukh’s interrogation, many important facts have been disclosed, namely in the exclusive domain, because he (SIC) becomes the main personnel, in and directly involved and has results from crime,” said Ed.
Alleged ed that Dishmukh had not provided the necessary information about the washing of crime.
