RAMGARH: Hazaribag SP Kartik S and others like three policemen have been hurt in a road accident on Monday as soon as the SUV collided with a hefty automobile moving forward, an official said.
The incident happened after the motorist of the SP’s automobile attempted to guard a scooter going into the street from a linking local street under Ramgarh city police station, ” the officer said.
Those injured comprise SP’s driver, his two bodyguards that had been in the car along with a girl and her kid on scooter,” he explained.
The wounded IPS officer had been rushed to a hospital at Ranchi while some had been admitted to a nearby hospital at Ramgarh town.
Kishore Kumar Rajak, Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Ramgarh stated that Hazaribag SP Kartik S was about way to express capital Ranchi out of Hazaribag within his SUV (Innova) when the accident happened.
Ramgarh SP together with group of cops reached the area and rescued wounded and sent to hospital, authorities said.
