Indore: The Indore MP bench High Court on Tuesday allows DAVV to conduct an examination in conventional mode but ask the university to provide other opportunities to students infected with Covid-19 who fail to appear in the centers without finding certificates.

The division of the chairman of the Chief Judge Ravi Malimath and Justice Pranay Verma issued direction while discarding two petitions submitted by students to hold a conventional examination.

“The petition delivered before the court raised the problem of students who cannot appear in examinations in conventional mode due to Covid-19 infection,” said Advocate Yadav to TOI, ”
Davv has been on Monday issuing circularly asking students to complete the Covid-19 certificate to appear in the exam.
This problem was raised in front of the court and directed the University not to request a Covid-19 certificate from students, said Yadav.
Aag Pushyamitra Bhargava was sent before the court that DAVV had followed all the Covid-19 protocol including masking in conducting the exam.
“Courts after hearing arguments allow DAVV to conduct examinations in conventional mode by providing opportunities for students infected with Covid-19 or outside the district without submitting any certificate” said Aag Bhargava.
