Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday canceled the temporary protection provided to the Sanjay Punamiya businessman in the case of multi-crore urban soil (ULC) and resigned from hearing the problem.
Justice Nitin Sambre, who also heard Plea guarantees Aryan Khan in a cruise ship drug case, told the lawyer Punamiya Rizwan Merchant: “This is not done.
Let your clients know that this time I just said not before me, but next time I will issue an insult .
This is not how the court works.
“Merchant submitted an apology, said:” I am with your Godhead and will never try to stop the Hon’ble court from issuing the command.
” He added he would not represent Punamiya again.
“I have resigned from appearance because I have to attend some important cases,” Merchant said later to Ti.
Police Thane investigated fraud also examined the role of Soram Param’s IPS officers, who allegedly extorted money from the builder in 2016 when he was the police commissioner Thane.
