Prasagraj: Allahabad High Courc has rejected a guarantee to a man accused of raping a woman after promising to marry her and, after that, allegedly pressing it to change her religion as a condition to get married, report Rajesh Kumar Pandey.
Applicants were imprisoned for violations below Section 376 (rape), 504 (insulting with the intention to provoke peace violations) and 506 (criminal intimidation) IPC, in addition to Part 3 and 5 (1) from Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Conversion of Religious Laws that violate the Law , 2020.
The reporting accused that the defendant persuaded him to be a physical relationship with a false promise.
“He then pressed me to convert to Islam,” he said.
He also accused him of fear of his life.
