The Delhi High Court Thursday invaded a comment made by his judge against actress Juhi Chawla that he had filed a challenging lawsuit challenging 5G wireless networks in this country due to health hazards, to get publicity.
Bench of judge Vipin Sanghi and Jasmeet Singh also reduced the costs imposed on Chawla from Rs 20 Lakh to Rs 2 Lakh, saying that he did not take 5G problems with “reckless and casual ways”.
The division bench allowed Chawla’s appeal and set aside the Single Judge Regulation June 4, 2021 where Chawla’s settings and the other two were dismissed by the observation that it was “defective”, “legal process harassment” and submitted to “get publicity”.
The actress, who was present at a virtual session, voluntarily worked with the authority of the state legal services Delhi (DSLSA) and features in the program to empower marginalized parts of the community.
