HC Fixed RMC order to seal the banquet room

Written by news2in

Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday continued to follow the Order of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) to ensure a place of several banquet rooms in the city.
While hearing the petition filed by the Banquet Hall owner, justice was Rajesh Shankar directed the Civic’s body to submit Affidavit against this and did not close the applicant’s premise.
In particular, the banquet room – Manya, Gitanjali, Payahi, Ashirvad and Chandragarh Bhawan – presented a notification by RMC on June 24, told their own owners that their campus would be sealed.
The owner rushed to the High Court challenged the order, said it was a violation of the principles of natural justice.
Advocates Nilesh Agarwal arguing on behalf of the owner told the court that RMC asked all the banquet space to register individually with the Civic body.
The online application was sent on the RMC portal by the owner in January this year, said Agarwal.
After that, RMC looks for certain questions relating to the plan of building a hall along with other criteria to run it.
This query is equipped with a cost.
However, without previous information, RMC issued a letter on June 24 which told that the hall, including those from the applicant, would be sealed.
Agarwal argued that the arbitrary RMC sequence in nature and the banquet Hall owner had not been given the chance of AB to explain their attitude in this matter.
The High Court after hearing this problem in the online process forbade the Civic body to proceed to the applicant and submit Affidavit against this problem.
