HC held the police from the people who harassed people who took videos from Thanjavur girls

Madurai: Holding police officials from harassing people who have taken a video of a 17-year-old class XII from the Thanjavur District where he made allegations that he was called to enter Christianity, Madras High Court on Saturday which was observed that the focus of the police authority must be in accordance with The situation causes suicide from children and it cannot be directed towards people who have taken videos.
Justice G R Swaminathan passed the temporary order during a special sit on Saturday, after the Petitioner’s advisor stated that the police allegedly tried to take action against people who took the video to reveal the identity of a little girl.
The dawn girl, Muruganantham filed a petition before HC Bangku Madurai was looking for a CB-CID probe in this case.
On Friday night, this case was taken to hear after the Petitioner’s advice made the mention in front of the court.
The court has ordered to carry out forensic autopsy and videograph procedures.
After taking into account the submission of the Petitioner’s advisor who accused that the parents of the deceased and the person who took the girl’s video was pressured by the police, the court asked the police to do themselves appropriately so as not to cause such allegations.
Furthermore, the Public Prosecutor contacted the court registry and told them that Postmortem had been carried out.
The police wanted to know whether the court had ordered the second postmortem to be carried out.
Therefore, a special seat was held on Saturday.
The Swaminathan judge recorded the fact that Postmortem was carried out by two forensic doctors attached to the Medical College Hospital Thanjavur.
Observing that no one was brought to doubt the credibility of postmortem, the judge asked the applicant who was present before the court through a video conference to receive the body and perform the last ritual according to the customs on Saturday itself.
The applicant also agreed to do it.
The judge directed the Thanjavur District collector to make the right arrangement to take the girl’s body to the village of origin of the Petitioner.
The judge also explained that the final rite will be carried out in customary mode and the police will not interfere with the performance.
The judge also directed Thanjavur’s main district judges to nominate Judicial Judges for the purpose of noting the applicant’s statement and his wife under Section 164 CR P C on January 23, Sunday.
The copy of the statement will be available in the sealed cover for this court perusal on January 24, Monday.
In that petition, the Petitioner stated that Sagayamary Hostel Wardayamary harassed his daughter by providing punishment work such as cleaning cooking utensils, to clean the toilet, to clean the school campus, forced to cook food in the dormitory and did not allow it to go home even during school holidays.
He stated that his daughter committed suicide, only because of torture dropped by him in the hands of school management after rejection for religious conversion.
However, the Thanjavur District Supervisor police gave a press statement stating that there were no complaints of forced religious conversion.
He stated that the SP and coercion statement by police created a strong suspicion that the police tried to protect several people responsible for the death of his daughter.
Therefore, the applicant moved HC Madurai’s bench to the CB-CID probe in this case.
This case was postponed until January 24 for further hearing.
