Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court rejected the pill filed by lawyers Rajesh Mootha against the anti-inflation rally planned by Congress on December 12 at Jaipur.
In his pill, the lawyer accused that because of the surge in Covid cases and concern for the new variant, Omicron, thousands of conversions somewhere would cause serious health hazards and should not be permitted.
But the court was maintained, there was no law to ban these functions after restrictions were removed and the committee only had to follow the Covid guidelines.
