NEW DELHI: Adhering to the help of most Air India pilots whose services have been terminated, for instance, contractual ones, that the Delhi high court on Tuesday quashed the nationwide company’s decision of last season and led his reinstatement.
The direction was issued by Justice Jyoti Singh who ordered that back salaries would need to be compensated into the reinstated pilots.
The court also explained that extension of contract, even later on, of the contractual pilots are in the discretion of Air India in view of the decent performance.
The court stated the comprehensive judgement will be accessible only on Wednesday.
The purchase was passed over 40 petitions by pilots whose services have been fired by Air India on August 13 final year.
