Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court has rejected a request that tried to cancel the shot against a businessman, who was ordered by police Chandrasekharpur here for allegedly deceiving senior IPS officers last year.
The cheating case was registered against Rajesh Ambwani in July last year based on the complaint of the 1998 Batch Batch officer Ravi Kant, which was posted as an officer about a special assignment at the resident’s commissioner’s head office in New Delhi.
In his complaint, Kant accused him of giving Rs 2.09 lakh to Ambwani in February-March 2018 to buy property in Bhubaneswar.
He also accused that Ambwani did not take property or return the money.
Responding to Kant’s allegations, Ambwani had transferred HC, looking brilliantly to it to be canceled.
“Applicant (Ambwani) knows the complainant and is a daughter of complainants.
Because Ambwani runs investment consultations in stocks and securities, IPS officers are reported about interest in investing in the stock market in December 2017.
Officers gave Rs 2.09 Lakh to Ambwani.
When officers Suffering losses on the market in 2019, he began to blame Ambwani and demanded a refund, “said one Ambwani advocate.
Ashok Kumar Parija, the state of Advocate General, opposes the submission made by Ambwani’s advice.
Parija said the investigation was not finished.
He said Ambwani allegedly disguised as Professor IIT, Delhi.
“Without a thorough investigation, it does not deserve whether the charges made by the complainants are made or not.
The court also recorded impunity by which the applicant was suspected of deceiving a complainant fully aware of the fact that he was a senior IPS officer.
