HC Slams CBI for Shoddy Probes in Elephant Hunting Cases

New Delhi: Expressing Disappointed for the Progress of the Elephant Hunting Case Transferred to the CBI, a Division of the Madras High Court Division of Justice V Bharathidasan and Judicial Kumar warned to transfer an investigation into the Special Investigation Team formed by the Court, reporting the Sureshkumar K.
The body could not even Seizing the ivory stolen by hunters, the judges said.
Responding to the same, Assistant Lawyers General of India for Madurai Bench from the Court Victoria Gowri submitted that he would instruct the relevant official to submit a status report on the actions taken on the next hearing date.
Record submission, the court postponed the trial on January 21.
On February 10, 2021 the court coordinates at Madurai ordered the CBI probe into the country.
