Chennai: Madras High Court has been ordered to maintain the status quo in the recruitment of ‘Archakas’ in Hindu temples.

The message is the same as the direct attack on the rights of members of the Petitioner Sangam and the same place people.
Authorities failed to see that the power to appoint Archaka could not be lowered or assigned to people who had no knowledge about the agamas or temple function.
The temple supervisor was empowered to appoint Archaka according to this section.
Thus, the beheaded command runs against the provisions of the actions and therefore, is responsible for rejection, the Petitioner said.
