Chennai: In the suspension of the Isha foundation based in Coimbatore, Madras High Court held the Government of Tamil Nadu to continue further with the prosecution that began on the foundation for alleged buildings without environmental permission from 2006 to 2014.

However, unreasonable classification was made between buildings built in 2006-2014 and those made from the 2014 post, he said.

While the same thing is awaiting consideration, the TN pollution control board issued a notification on November 19, 2021, which tried to show why the foundation should not be prosecuted for a violation of notification.
