HC tells the government to fill posts in CWC and teen boards

Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday ordered the government to fill all empty posts in the Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board in the state.
The chairman of the chairman of the chairman Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad set a two-month deadline for the government to complete and make an appointment.
The court heard litigation of the public interest submitted by Bachpan Bachao Andolan, a non-governmental organization that worked for the rights of children in the state.
The court was informed of the fact that the child’s welfare committee and the teenage justice council were through the staff crisis that affected the case of teenagers.
The committee and board work with officials who have been given extra responsibility to maintain work.
The bench in oral observations say officials charge additional fees will not be able to release their duties as expected from them and will always be in stress that will affect their work.
The court said the appointment of a delayed meeting must be made earlier.
Promise will affect the rights of children who cannot be protected, the bench is observed.
