HC to Center: When will 3 B’Deshi women send home?

Patna: The Patna High Court has asked the central government when three Bangladeshi women who languish in Nari Niketan in Gai Ghat on Patna for the past six years will be sent back home.
Sanjay Karol’s Judicial Chief Division bench and Justice S Kumar heard the Criminal Writ petition in the properties of Habeas Corpus submitted by one Marium Khatoon.

The bench on Monday has expressed an annoyance of the lack of detention center in Bihar because where three Bangladesh citizens continue to continue to take refuge in homes since 2015.
They are victims of human trafficking.
The High Court has formed a three-advocate committee that has examined Gai Ghat Shelter Home and submitted reports that they are provided with food, clothing, medical assistance and other requirements and not facing sexual or mental harassment there.
