Bengaluru: With the election of assembly still one and a half years, the war between Congress and JDS has increased in Muslim voices.
Former Chairman of HD Minister Kumaraswamy on Saturday released a new attack on Congress by accepting him and the opposition leader Siddaramaiiah systematically quoted Muslim leaders in the party.
“From Iqbal Ahmed Saradagi to Roshan Baig to Cm Ibrahim and Saiteer Saiters, political career all Muslim leaders in Congress have finished systematically by Siddaramaiiah,” Alleged Kumaraswamy in a series of tweets.
Fresh attacks are a continuation of the word wars that occur between the two parties after JD decided to look for Muslim candidates in SINDAGI and the suspension assembly segment that would go for Bypolls in October 3.
The step did not go down well with the congress because it thought it would divide Muslim voices and help BJP.
Congress’s concern comes from the party’s defeat at Basavakalyan Bypoll where JD candidates, who are Muslims, secure more than 10,000 votes.
As a result, Congress leaders, especially Siddaramaiiah, have accused JD (s) as B BJP team and has intentionally lowered Muslim candidates only to help the latter.
According to political experts, both parties depend on Muslim voices to install a good show in 2023 Husting and ongoing fighting is to paint themselves as champions of the cause of minorities and get a big voice.
Congress, who has lost most of his dalit voice banks to BJP for years, is very much like to keep Muslim voice banks remain intact in an effort to return to power.
But worried that JD can damage the plan.

By doing that, he wants to send messages to Muslims that their voices for JD will help BJP.
But they will not succeed,” said JD (s) the President of the State HK Kumaraswamy.
On the other hand, JD hopes to damage the prospect of as many congresses as possible so that the 2023 assembly poll throws a cracked verdict so that the party said in the government formation.
“The only way to achieve this is to install the Muslim Voice Bank of Congress to the maximum limit and that is what Kumaraswamy did by highlighting the alleged treatment of minority leaders.
The cracking verdict means a favorable position for JD (s),” said a political commentator .
Senior Official Congress BL Shankar said Kumaraswamy’s statement would not take Muslim voices from Congress.
“This is an important statement when the community weigh the option before that.
Everyone knows Kumaraswamy can go with any party, including BJP, for his profit.
Therefore, his statement will not have an impact on the prospect of the Congress,” he said.
KPCC President DK Shivakumar said in Kalaburagi on Saturday that Muslim voters got information well and they knew very well who chose their welfare.
