HDMC gets approval to auction open sites

Hubballi: Finally, HDMC gets approval from the state government to auction of open sites with its limits.
HDMC plans to issue notifications related to auctions in several days for sale 167 sites with different dimensions in twin cities.
The basic value of the site will be Rs 27 Crore.
HDMC has improved the value of the site based on the guidance value of the department and preparation of sub-registrars available for electronic procurement.
People who are interested in buying will be given 20 days to bid and they can bid for two days.
Suresh Itnal, Commissioner, HDMC, said that the list has been prepared, and preparation for e-auction is also active.
Officials have been asked to measure the site after that the notification will be issued, he added.
Those who deposited the number before the offer will be allowed to participate in the offer.
Enough time will be given to ensure more people to participate in offers, he added.
According to sources, HDMC officials have planned to auction out open sites at Amarol and Navanagar Township.
Open sites remain not inhabited for years.
Because HDMC decided to generate revenue from open sites and send proposals for approval from the government to be auctioned.
Site prices have been repaired differently based on corner sites and other sites, commercial and housing.
In the list of the proposed open sites there are 71 housing along with commercial, a total number of 167 open sites with different dimensions, added sources.
