HDMC Polling: BJP Hits rebel problem, Cong on the last day of archiving papers

Hubballi: The National Party BJP and Congress must fight with their own people in front of the Selection of Municipal Hubballi-Dharwad Corporation.
On the last day of submitting nominations on Monday, there were far more rebels than official candidates who filed their papers.
Now, convincing dissidents to attract their papers will be a big challenge for the two parties.
Rebels from both parties have submitted a nomination in almost all wards.
BJP leaders and Congress tried to convince rebels not to enter the upheaval of the poll on Monday.
Many rebel candidates complained that they had been closed again and their party had provided tickets to those who were not at the party.
Congressman filed a nomination for all 25 wards under the central constituency.
However, in the morning, there was uncertainty congress which fought from Ward Number 36, 37, and 38.
Immediately after the party announced his candidate, they would not be available.
Without announcing the names of candidates, Congress immediately took him directly to the nomination center and made them filed paper.
According to sources, BJP members have tried to suppress congressional candidates in this environment and even threaten them.
Worried about the threat, the candidates were said to have turned off their cellphones and went to their phone “our candidates have submitted a nomination and we managed to send them out of town,” he said.
When asked Rajanna Koravi and Tippanna Majjagi from BJP said they were ready to face the election.
Aam Aadmi Party member was celebrated by Garlanding their candidates after they submitted their paper in HDMC.
Norma Covid was ignored in the HDMC office and other places where candidates submitted their nomination papers on Monday, the authorities had difficulty upholding the appropriate behavior of Covid.
No one feels to keep a social distance and many don’t wear a mask.
Dharwad DC Nitesh Patil said the place was crowded because it was the last day of the submission of papers.
“There were 16 officials who returned for the election, each one for five wards.
Even so, people rushed on the last day.
Therefore the situation came out of control,” he added.
