Kolkata: BJP President J P Nadda on Tuesday attacked the Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee, alleged that the lowest Covid-19 vaccination in West Bengal and fake inoculation camps was being held here.
His statement drew a sharp retort of TMC which claimed that the center failed to provide an adequate number of vaccines to the state.
Nadda also claimed that “violence after the organized poll” is underway in the state and despite having a female minister’s head, women face cruelty.
“If you look at data, the lowest vaccination in West Bengal is compared to other countries,” said BJP head, without describing.
According to the central government website, at all 2.14 doses of crore vaccines, including 48.64 lakh jabs second, managed in the state until 9am on Tuesday.
The West Bengal population is around 9.13 crores, said the state government portal.
“This is the only state where you will see a fake vaccination camp is running.
We have never heard of fake vaccination.
Even TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty gets a fake vaccine jab,” he said.
Some people, including the mastermind, were recently arrested for holding dubious camps in Kolkata where people were given a fake vaccine dose.
“The TMC government and identical corruption.
If there is corruption in the Covid-19 vaccine, it occurs in West Bengal.
This is embarrassing,” he said.
Nadda accused Banerjee, also the Supremo Trinamool Congress, “changed the version” every day on the vaccination program, and the state government has failed in its process, even though the center provides a free vaccine to state.
“Mamataji first questioned the vaccination process.
Then he asked the center to allow the state to do their own vaccination program and buy vaccines.
But when he failed miserably, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced free vaccination,” Nadda said.
Denies allegations of BJP president, General Secretary of the TMC Kunal Ghosh claimed that the central vaccination program was in “chaos and failed to provide an adequate number of vaccines for Bengal”.
The BJP President handled nearly the first executive committee meeting from the party state unit after the assembly poll.
Violence after the poll clearly reflects the failure of the state administration, said Nadda.
Aadhaar cards and BJP workers’ ration cards have been taken and the police remain a silent audience, he accused.
“All of this happens under a cm woman.
Many atrocities have been faced by women.
If women are not safe, what kind of governance is obtained by West Bengal from TMC?” He asked.
Claiming that there was no violence after the poll in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Pondicherry where the selection of the Assembly was held with West Bengal, Nadda said, “Violence does not occur as a party like TMC is not present in these countries.
Where there is TMC, There is violence.
“While the BJP office in two burned places, property of more than 1,300 party workers was destroyed in violence after the poll in the state, he accused.
Without mentioning the failure of BJP to achieve its very hyped target to win the State Assembly election, Nadda emudible belief that in the next five years, the party will take a big leap and will form a government in the next election.
BJP has claimed to have won more than 200 seats in a poll held in April-May but it managed to get 77.
Trinamool congress invaded back to strength for the third consecutive term winning 213 seats in 292 seats where the selection was held.
“BJP has covered a distance in Bengal in a very short time span.
We only won two seats Sabha in 2014 and got 18 percent of the vote.
In 2016 the assembly poll, we only won 3 chairs and guaranteed 10.16.
Share Percental election.
This time we have won 77 seats, “he said.
However, TMC in power in Bengal, rejected allegations of violence after the poll.
“JP Nadda must first calculate the ratio of visits to the state and the number of seats obtained, they will know that Bengal has rejected them.
The accusations they level from violence and vaccinations have no meaning but signs of frustration after dealing with defeat like That, “said Ghosh.
