Hyderabad: With the aim of achieving ‘Democrats Telangana’, President of the State BJP Unit and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar announced that he would start Padyatra (foot March) from here on August 9.
The first phase of Yatra which includes 750km and spread over the range of 55 days will start from Hyderabad on August 9 and conclude in the city of Huzurabad on October 2, Kumar said while handling the Telangana BJP executive meeting.
He further said Padyatra will be carried out in all assembly constituents in phases throughout the state.
“Mahatma Gandhi gave Clarion’s call to end the British government and launched the Indian Quit Movement on August 9, 1942 and draw inspiration from it and aimed at reaching the ‘Democrat Telangana’ Padyatra to be taken from August 9,” Telangana BJP ‘said the head.
He said Yatra aims to create awareness among the public for the alleged failure of the Ruling TRS government and revealed the alleged primary practices of Chandrasykhar Rao’s Chandrasekhar Chairperson, his ruling colleagues and MLAS partners.
During Yatra, he said, the public would be explained in various welfare programs and developments carried out by the central government.
It will also explain to people about BJP’s vision if powerful in the state, he said.
