Pimpri Chinchwad: Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Rajesh Patil has warned private schools from decisive action on all types of parental exploitation or students relating to costs, uniforms, online education and do not allow acceptance under education (RTE)) acting.
In a meeting with more than 50 private school representatives on July 3, Patil said the school had to offer more flexibility considering the situation of the pandemic.
He appealed to school representatives to reduce the cost of at least 15% for the ongoing academic year.
The PCMC Department of Education has also served a notification to several schools because it refused to enter students who qualified under the RTE law.
Patil said, “Schools must be more polite to students.” PCMC Education Officer Parag Mundhe said they had received more than 40 complaints, so far, regarding requests in the cost of increasing and around 30 complaints about no receipt under the RTE law.
“For cost problems, there are several written complaints about several private schools.
In such cases, we send the supervisor to ask the problem and solve it.
While if there is no entrance ticket under the RTE law, there are several schools that do not accept replacement of RTE fees From the government, after they stopped receiving.
