Head of PSC: Request for an unrealistic ranking list extension

Thiruvananthapuram: PSC Chairman MK Sakeer said on Wednesday that the demand to extend the validity of the PSC ranking list was not realistic and contrary to the interests of unregular work seekers waiting for their turn to participate in competitive exams.
Overcoming a press conference, Sakeer said PSC did not have the right to extend the validity of the ranking list.
He rejected the allegations that PSC was slow in processing the appointment process due to Emergency Covid-19.
“Being a constitutional organization, the PSC cannot change the laws and rules that regulate it.
It will be not constitutional to demand the renewal list renewal to facilitate the selection of a series of candidates who have known in a specific ranking list.
Ranking list has validity.
The maximum validity of the ranking list can be three years.
-Eh changed fast to the unrealistic demands for the appointment of everyone who knows in the ranking list, job seekers must try to get a better ranking in the exam to increase their chances of making promises, “he said.
The chairman said PSC did not consider protest candidates as enemies.
He said all job applicants must make peace in reality regarding the validity of the ranking list.
