PALGHAR: The President of the Union trader in Wada in Palghar Maharashtra Regency was attacked by a helicopter by an unknown man at his residence, police said on Tuesday.
The motive behind the attack on Manore Asish (40) is unknown, said an official.
Manore was attacked with a helicopter on the night intervention Sunday and Monday after an unidentified man broke into his house located in the area of Ali in Wada, 47km from the downtown Palghar office.
Manore, who was very bloody from his stomach, rushed to a local hospital and then shifted to Thane, the official said.
He came out of danger now, he added.
The police have registered a case for attempts to murder under the 307 part of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC).
No one was captured so far.
