Head of Transportation Panel Wants Plaza at Mor Bhavan

Nagpur: The Chair of the Transportation Committee Jitendra Kukde has requested the NMC transportation department to drop the RS70 Lakh proposal to get a forum to create an office in Mor Bhavan by the Head of Panel Bunkkar Narendra.
Instead, at the committee meeting on Wednesday, Kukde directed the department to prepare a proposal about building a multi-floor transportation plaza that could accommodate the office manager of the AAPLI bus program – Delhi integrated Multi-Capital Transit System (DIMTS) Ltd.
Bornar’s proposal.
To invest in the procurement of containers is not opposed by anyone.
However, the administration has saved it in cold storage.
Kukde told the Toi that the decision to replace the container office setting with a multi-floor building only to make a permanent facility.
Building the Aapli bus administration building in Mor Bhavan will be very helpful in the future too, he said.
At present, Dimts operates from the Esthile Octroi office near Empress Mall.
Kukde directed the department to prepare a detailed plan of building a transportation plaza in Mor Bhavan and handed it before the panel at the next meeting.

To curb this, Kukde issued direction to install CCTV cameras on all buses and five bus depots throughout the city.
