Surat: The wellness cards issued from the Surat Municipal Corporation’s (SMC) health division is assisting small business owners keep an eye on the in addition to their personnel’s health. The human anatomy has issued only one lakh wellness cards to several shopkeepers and small business owners throughout the city.The wellness card comprises information on the company owners vaccination information, Covid-19 testing times and if another test is expected. “This health club helps me monitor my own Covid-19 testing dates once I come to do the job. It will help us convince our clients that our store is secure and when we’ve been examined for the virus,” explained Tanzil Mitha, a shop manager in Adajan. Likewise a shop owner in Bhatar, Tulsi Patel, stated,”Together with the cardI may even keep an eye on my workers’ testing. Until we receive a vaccine that this card may help us in combating the outbreak.” SMC health department officials explained,”Originally, the store owners weren’t cooperating with all the health cards. But slowly they realised it is for their own enhancement. Now the store owners and their employees have been approaching us to trouble them with the card. ”“The store owners along with his employees come in touch with a great number of consumers. Should they become infected, then there are greater chances that they could infect a great amount of individuals. Hence we’re employing the usage of credit cards sharply. We’re getting very good response from individuals,” explained Banchhanidhi Pani, SMC commissioner.
