Gurgaon: As a sign of protest and also to press their needs, the National Health Mission employees in Haryana will freeze work for 2 weeks — June 22 and 23 — to celebrate dwelling isolation.
During an internet match on Sunday, district leader (Haryana NHM) Karamchari Sangh summarized the program of the next leg of this continuing protest which has been launched from the state authorities earlier this season.
Terming it as the fourth period of the protest, all of the employees, such as contractual physicians, auxiliary midwife nurses, medical professionals, and ambulance drivers, could refrain from reporting for their own duties.
The employees claim that their attempts to participate with the state authorities in the last couple of months have failed to evoke any reaction, forcing them to work with”extreme measures”.
“Suspending work in a pandemic isn’t something we needed to tackle.
However, the government has left us without the choice.
In media announcements, the government presents itself like they’re quite worried with our well-being.
However they refuse to admit our perennial letters and memorandums,” stated the country president of NHM Karmachari Sangh Rehan Raza.
The NHM employees have claimed they are functioning in extreme circumstances with no safety net and government aid.
Employees have maintained that working in the frontline, they’ve been denied fundamental worker rights such as total wages as well as exemptions.
