Patna: The State Health Department experienced another setback when the video of a fight between nurses helped midwives (ANM) and an accredited social health activist (Asha) became viral on social media.
The incident occurred at the Lakhimpur reference hospital in the Jamui District.
The video described the two women who changed the health center to the battlefield, complete with sandals and legs used to attack and pull hair.
While some people stood silent because the cruel incident was revealed, a man could be seen trying to separate the two by step between them.
According to a media report, Asha approached ANM to manage the BCG vaccine to newborn children.
However, the latter demands Rs 500 to complete this task.
Both of them began their quarrels with heated arguments that increased into a physical attack.
Pratyaya Amrit, head of additional health secretary, described the incident as “inappropriate from public servants”.
