Heard in the first virtual traffic court first: waiting for e-challans

Noida: The first virtual traffic court was held in Gautam Budh Nagar on Friday.
The hearing was attended by a judge from the High Court of Allahabad and senior government officials from Lucknow.
According to sources, the court heard disputes related to e-challans and e-payment of traffic sentences that have been suspended for almost five years.
Officials said there were more than 11 lakh e-challsan which was delayed in Noida since 2017, when traffic punishment began to be monitored through the camera.
In the past two years, e-challsans produced through cellular devices also increased.
“During the National Loco is on July 10, we throw around 10,000 e-challan cases and generate income against around Rs 70 lakh.

E-Challan uploaded on the police website first.
If it remains not paid, sent to court V, where traffic perpetrators can pay or oppose Challan.
If contested, dating will be given for virtual hearing and it will be heard by the Junior Division Court.
Applicants can log in and pay Challan online using their vehicle number.
If they want to oppose Challan, they can propose to them online, here they will get.
Applicants will, for now, must come for one trial directly when this case will be heard and discarded.
While the trial is the only offline process like now, officials say that it will also be moved online.
