Heart World Day: Experts emphasize a healthy lifestyle to reduce heart disease

Guwahati: Controlling modified risk factors can reduce heart disease significantly.
On Heart World Day on Wednesday, health experts urged people to adopt a healthy lifestyle as 10% of the urban population and 5% of rural populations remain vulnerable to cardiovascular disease (CVD), except for hill countries.
People who live in plains, especially in cities, continue to face the threat of cardiovascular disease.
Dr.
Rahul Kumar Sharma, State Program Officials (Non-Communique Disease) at Assam NHM, said that among diseases, hypertension and diabetes were found very related to CVD.
In accordance with the health statistics of the Ministry and Health Family Welfare in India 2019-20, in Assam, the prevalence of hypertension among men and women (between 15 and 49 years) is 18% and 20.8% respectively.
The numbers that are suitable for men and women in the same age group as high blood sugar are 6.6% and 5.2% respectively.
“Cardiovascular strokes and heart-related diseases have increased due to the prevalence of hypertension and diabetes until most,” Sharma said.
According to a report, cardio-vascular disease is the main cause of global death, estimated at around 17.9 million every year.
The day is celebrated to promote different preventive measures and lifestyle changes to avoid cardio-vascular diseases, such as heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, and other conditions related to the same thing.
Dr.
Chinmoy Mazumder, a famous cardiologist in Guwahati, felt it was important to raise awareness about the disease every time there was room to do it.
“This year on the Heart Day of the World, we ask the world to use the heart to connect.
Take advantage of digital health forces to increase awareness, prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases globally is the purpose of ‘world hearts’ 2021,” said Mazumder.
“Use the heart to connect is about using your knowledge, affection, and your influence to ensure that we, the people we love and our community are part of, have the best opportunity to live a healthy life.
This year there are three pillars.
different – equity, prevention and community, “he added.
People who live with cardiovascular disease have been disproportionately influenced by Covid-19 years ago.
Mazumder warns that liver disconnects are at risk of heart disease and greater stroke due to lack of access to the prevention of cardiovascular disease, treatment and control.
“So use the heart to connect every heart.
We have to care for our hearts by eating healthy food, avoiding tobacco and getting a lot of practice,” he said.
The Heart Care Society Assam observed the world’s heart day by organizing free health checks and camps in various countries throughout the month.
The aim of the program is to communicate and inform the public about prevention, detection and treatment of heart disease.
Dr.
Nirmal Kanti Bhattacharjee, senior cardiologist and HCSA President, said several risk factors were modified and thus CVD could be prevented in many cases.
“Diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol problems and weight is a risk factor for CVD but can be controlled.
Unfortunately all of this begins to affect health simultaneously in many cases,” he warned, urging people to consume a healthy diet and undergo a healthy lifestyle and undergo a healthy lifestyle and live a healthy lifestyle and undergo an active lifestyle and undergo an active lifestyle.
