Bengaluru: Heavy rain continued to reduce many parts of Karnataka on Friday, leaving three dead people, causing flooding near 22 rivers and discarding transportation services out of the states.
While two people sank on the river surged in Uttara Kannada in heavy rain, the third died after a portion of a house collapsed in Chikkamagaluru.
Two people were missing from Uttara Kannada Regency, where the situation was gloomy hours.
The sinking road in Dandeli; 79 villages that were beaten at Uttara Kannada Dist8 Landsles reported; Orange warnings in the Belagavi, the commemoration of the orange dharwadan has been issued for the District of Belogavi and Dharwad.
Eight landslide incidents were reported, including one of Virajpet in Kodagu Regency and Arangail Ghat in Uttara Kannada Regency.

He extended support to farmers who suffered losses due to heavy rain and hail.
Revenue Minister R Ashoka said the government had rushed to use the National Disaster Response Team to Raichur, Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada, Beleagavi and Shivamogga Regency.
“The government has asked deputy commissioners from the affected districts to safely evacuate people in villages that tend to face inundation because the surface of the water will increase in the Krishna basin,” he added.
