Gurugram: A few hours of rain on Wednesday morning caused heavy water logging and a situation such as floods in various stretches and areas in Gurugram.
Nearly 70% of the city sank an average of 3-4 feet of water with two worst devastated areas which became the Expressway Delhi-Gurugram service line near Jharsa Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, Narsinghpur, Biaspur, Sohna Chowk, Basai Chowk, Sohna Chowk, Sector 4 -7-9, Hanuman Chowk, Dhankot, Fazilpur Chowk, Vatika Chowk, Subtarawa Chowk, Atul Kataria Chowk, Border of Kapashera, Udyog Vihar, Jocbpura, Ajar A Bazar, Dundahera, Bhimbarh Kheri, near Medanta Underpass and Jawala Mill.
Apart from these areas, Wazirabad Road, Sanjay Gram Road, Sheetla Mata Road, Old Delhi Road, Palam Vihar Road, Kartepuri Chowk Signature Tower Chowk and Honda Chowk Hero are also very affected by waterlogging.
Both vehicle traffic and pedestrian movements are disturbed due to puddles on several roads.
The morning rush hour traffic was very affected and the police struggled to make the vehicle move.
The police were seen standing on the knee water while struggling to keep traffic.

“Heavy rains interfere with traffic movements in Gurugram, MCG and other concern departments on their duties to remove rainwater in drainage with the help of pumps, fire tenders and other machines.
