Jaipur: The widespread rainfall was recorded in the eastern part of Rajasthan, the roads were encouraging in many places and washing the Gudha and Govindi Marwar Station railroad in Jodhpur Division.
Some places in Nagaur, Baran, Jaipur, Sawaimadhopur, Kariuli, Sikar, Alwar, Jhunjhunu and Churu districts have recorded weight with rainfall that is very heavy until Saturday morning.
A maximum of 304 mm rainfall is recorded in Baran, followed by Niwai in Tonk where 192 mm rain is recorded.
Some roads are flooded in Jaipur, Dausa, Tonk, Sawaimadhopur, Karauli, Dholpur and Baran.
Chaksu District Jaipur, Narayna, Maujmabad and Sambhar received 168 mm, 167 mm, 162 mm and 142 mm respectively.
Dudu Airport, Phagi, Phulera and Jaipur (Sanganer) and Amber recorded 135 mm, 123 mm, 122 mm, 77.3 mm and 67 mm of rain.
In the Nagaur district, rainwater washing traces of the train between Gudha and Govindi Marwar Junction on Saturday that affected the movement train for several hours.
Special Train Bhopal-Jodhpur is diverted due to restoration work.
The trajectory was restored after a few hours, said a Northwest Railway spokesman.
The Meteorology department has issued a ‘red warning’, warns very heavy rain to very heavy (more than 115.6 mm) in one or two places in Baran, Jhalwar Regency on Saturday.
A ‘orange warning’ for very heavy rainfall has been released for one or two places in Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Bundi, City and Barans.
For Karauli, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Nagaur, and Pali Regency, Yellow Alert has been issued a heavy rain warning.
