Thiruvananthapuram: Rain who continued to continue to glow the parts of the country on Sunday when Southwest Monsoon was active on Kerala with an orange warning that issued Weatherman for five North Regency.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for Malappuram Regency, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod on Sundays and alert to Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur and Palakkad.
The IMD also issued an orange warning for Kannur and Kasaragod Regency on Monday.
“Strong winds with speeds reaching 40-50 kmph Embung up to 60 kmpj, it is likely and from Kerala Beach.
The fishermen are advised not to explore this sea area during that period mentioned,” weather warnings issued for fishermen on the next beach.
Days starting from July 11 to 13.
The IMD website shows that the parts of Kasaragod received 16 cms rain while thrissurreceived 11.5 cms.
Part of Ernakulam, Alapapuzha and Idukki each received 9.7, 6 and 8.4 cm rainfall.
The red warning shows heavy rain until heavy rains more than 20 cm in 24 hours, while alert oranges means that rain is very heavy than rain 6 cm to 20 cm.
The yellow warning means heavy rainfall between 6 to 11 cm.
