New Delhi: The Ministry of India Meteorology (IMD) on Sunday said heavy until very heavy rain in isolated places is estimated to be more than some parts of the North India including Delhi on Monday morning, but there is a little help from heat that does not accept the day as a day as Southwest Monsun has not reached the remaining part of the area.
IMD said the southwest monsun would be about the parts of North India including Delhi on July 10, but it had not happened until Sunday night.
IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said his condition was ripe for the progress of Southwest Monsun over Delhi because humidity also increased due to Easterlies.
He said the formation of a low pressure area would also increase its progress.
“We expect lightweight rainfall on Sundays and good spells on Monday,” he said.
IMD said, “Heavy rains to very heavy possibilities are in isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Gujarat Region, Maharashtra Madhya, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe And Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaisa.
“This also issued a warning for several North Indian states and red warnings for the coast of Maharashtra.
Bulletin also shows that heavy rains are expected in remote places over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan Timur, Madhya West Pradesh, Bihar, West West and Sikkim, Odisha, The Andaman , And Nicobar Islands, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, North Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
The storm storm is accompanied by a flash and strong winds (with a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour) very likely in isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Andaman Islands and Telangana.
Lightning in isolated places also expected more than Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Maharashtra Middle, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and karaisa on Monday morning, IMD added.
