Pune: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has issued an isolated heavy rain warning for Madhya Maharashtra and Conkan from October 6-8, especially in the Ghat region.
Five districts, including the area of Ghat Pune, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Kolhapur and Satara, have been placed on an isolated heavy rain warning for Tuesday.
Most other locations tend to witness storms, lightning and strong winds, said IMD.
Anupam Kashyapi, Head of Weather Forecasting at IMD Pune, told TII, “Cyclone circulation in the Southeast Arab Sea is between 4.5 km and 5.8 km above sea level will affect the spells of rain that will come in the parts Enough.
