Heavy rains Most likely in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar

Mumbai: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has predicted very heavy rain in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar until July 15.
The IMD has issued an orange warning in Mumbai District, Thane and Palghar which indicated heavy rain until July 15.
The bureau has issued an orange warning, predicts very heavy rain in other districts in Maharashtra too.
There is also the possibility of heavy rainfall to heavy in isolated places Raigad, Ratnagiri Satara, Kolhapur, and Sindhudurg until July 15.
Total rain was recorded since June 1 by Colaba Observatory 814.8 mm each and Santacruz, 1106.8 mm each.
Fishermen are advised not to explore the sea along and outside Maharashtra and South Goa Beach until July 15.
Meanwhile, total water stock in seven lakes that supplied drinking water to Mumbai was 2.61 lakh million liters or 18.08%.
Last year, the total stock on the same date was around 2.89 lakh million liters or 19.98 percent.
